Well, this summer just flew right on by! I can’t believe today was back-to-school day for Avery, and I have never seen her so excited about anything I think. She flew right out of bed this morning and the first thing she said to us was “school today!” I made her favorite blueberry pancakes for breakfast and dad packed her lunch in her new lunchbox from great-grandma Doris. I am glad I was able to capture her excitement in these pictures, it can be hard to convey emotion in still images, but I would say I pretty much nailed it.

And she is off! Couldn’t wait for the pictures to be done so she could get to school!
